RESEARCH AT UARIZONA HEALTH SCIENCES
UÎçÒ¹¾ç³¡ Health Sciences research focuses on cancer, neurodegenerative diseases, pain and addiction, and respiratory diseases; biomedical informatics, health technology innovation and simulation training; and health disparities, precision health care and treatments, and pandemic preparedness. Physician-scientists and researchers in Health Sciences colleges, centers and programs garner more than $220 million in research grants and contracts annually.

R. KEN COIT COLLEGE OF PHARMACY
The R. Ken Coit College of Pharmacy was the first health science college at the University of ÎçÒ¹¾ç³¡. Today, it is one of the premier pharmacy schools in the nation. The College strives to improve the health and well-being of individuals in diverse and global communities by: educating the next generation of leaders, professionals and innovators in pharmacy and pharmaceutical sciences; and generating solutions to optimize health and patient outcomes. MEL AND ENID ZUCKERMAN COLLEGE OF PUBLIC HEALTH
Established in 2000, the Mel and Enid Zuckerman College of Public Health was the first nationally accredited college of public health in the Southwest and is the only one in ÎçÒ¹¾ç³¡. With campuses in Tucson and Phoenix, the College enrolls more than 1,100 students per year across degree programs at the bachelor, master and doctoral levels. Through research, education and community engagement, it continues to find solutions to public health problems in ÎçÒ¹¾ç³¡, the Southwest and globally.
